It ain't what I remember...

A small dream fragment can say a lot about our life situation.

I woke one morning remembering that I had just been driving in my hometown of Lancaster, PA. I pulled out of an alley a began to drive East on King St. King Street has always been a one way street traveling West to East. However, this time, King St. was one way East to West... I had to turn myself around in order go in the right direction. Goes to show us that some things we have known for all our life can all of a sudden be the exact opposite.

We can either accept the shift. Or we can spend the rest of our lives wondering why the direction was changed. I chose to turn myself around and head according to current directions!

Video: Marion Woodman - language of the soul...

From 1975 to 1977, I formally studied the Jungian approach to therapy through the language of the soul... the dream world... since that time I have both practiced and used dreamwork in personal development as well as in helping others find their way home... Jungian studies and dreamwork took me to new levels of understanding and living the oneness of Life, the integration of spiritual and the 3D world of our existence... Finding our true voice may happen in many ways... dreams are a way to unlock the unconscious... and to move toward synthesis and wholeness....

In this video, Jungian Analyst Marion Woodman describes her approach to therapy, which she says, comes from the unconscious. She goes on to define and explain the unconscious and how it starts with a dream. The dream is a picture of the unconscious and what you do through the day is mirrored in the dream at night.

Best wishes,

Dreamtime Lesson

Dreamtime Lessons..

Have you heard the expression, "Life is not a dress rehearsal?"

I recently had a dream and here I am in a rehearsal hall... Of course, I have no idea what is going on, but realize I'm somehow involved in the production to come...

There are many people in the room then our group is told to go to a special room... so I begin to follow others... and, again, of course, I have no idea where we are headed... Now the director or an assistant is handing me a large stack of scripts and music... and off I go to the specially designated place to prepare!

While Life is always "now," in a sense there is always more. And while there is uncertainty, it is reassuring to know I'm still in the "show." We really do not know for sure what is going on, or at least I don't. And yet there seem to be those "characters" within the psyche that have the "scripts" and "music" and give them to us when needed!

Life may not be a dress rehearsal, but all we experience will undoubtedly play a part in our character as it plays out the scenes of the present moment and in tomorrow's 'nows'...

In the silence and in the roars of the jungle, we hear our cues... if we are paying attention....
